“I enrolled in SMART Heroes because I wanted to expand my skills into a new career field and sheet metal caught my eye. I like that everything is hands-on and requires 100 percent focus. Sheet metal is an ever-evolving trade that requires you to learn more than one skill to master it, which is why I chose to become an apprentice after completing the program. The patience, problem solving, and discipline I learned in the military have already helped me succeed in my new career.”
