WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Active-duty members transitioning to civilian life (priority)
Active-duty members 180 days after ETS (space available)
Military reserves, National Guard & veterans (space available)
To be completed prior to start date:
- Complete pre-screen with Charlotte Rose, SMART Heroes liaison
- Company Commander signs off on the CSP Memo and Battalion Commander approves the CSP memo
- Submit a current resume to Charlotte Rose at charlotte@smarthvac.training
- Interview with staff of SMART Local 9 JATC
- Complete TAP and turn in DD2648 to CSPIA
Once the service member is accepted into the program, instruction will be four days a week for seven consecutive weeks. The class is full time and will provide the equivalent of first-year apprenticeship training (224 hours).

General Sheet Metal
Building Information Modeling
Architectural
System Test, Adjust, Balance
Welding
HVAC Service
